What is a Community Supported Bakery or CSB?
You have probably heard of CSA; community supported agriculture, The Cottage Baker is your local CSB, a community supported bakery. Minnesota cottage baking law allows custom baking and sales of nonhazardous products in a non-commercial (brick and mortar storefront) setting. Yours truly, Mark Bridge, is a registered cottage baker and certified food manager with the state of Minnesota.

How does this work?
During the summer, weekly bakes are offered at local Farmers Markets and events; customer orders are also available for pickup at these events, look for the Cottage Baker vendor spot. Customer orders will also be available for delivery/pick up on weekly bake days or other times by arrangement.
How do I order when the Farmer's Market is out of season?
Standard or regular items can be ordered year round from the Market section of the website, OR you can use the contact page to let me know what you need. Just because something isn't listed doesn't mean it's not available. Remember, this works like having a personal baker, all kinds of wonderful baked goods can be made to order.  Orders for folks in the Park Rapids, Nevis, Dorsett, Menahga, Osage and nearby surrounding area are delivered at no additional charge, or customer pickup at an arranged time.
