Lemon Sponge cake​

A decadent, four-layer lemon flavored
sponge cake filled with lemon curd  and
frosted with a ​delicious buttercream frosting.

Beaten Sponge Cake

A delicious, two layer beaten sponge cake filled with lemon curd and covered with a coconut-infused buttercream frosting.

Black Chocolate CAKE​

Two rich layers of bittersweet chocolate cake filled and frosted with a caramel buttercream and sprinkled with candied pecans. It's just like chocolate turtle cake.

SPONGE CAKE
You'd better cover the kid's eyes; it's a naked cake. A sponge cake recipe from Grant-Kohrs Ranch, Augusta Kohrs recipe collection. Augusta credits this cake recipe to Mrs. Jorgenson. To finish the cake, I use a pineapple infused buttercream frosting, slather it on then top the cake with shredded coconut. A light dusting of powdered sugar on the side of the cake was applied to finish the presentation.

MAHOGANY CAKE
Here is a real chocolate treat, a Mahogany Cake with mocha buttercream frosting and topped with shaved chocolate. Mahogany cake can be traced back over 100 years. This Grant Kohrs Ranch version is very tasty with good coffee flavor

SUNSHINE CAKE
Another Gateau Au Naturel. This one is Augusta Kohrs' Sunshine Cake with her filling consisting of raisins, chopped nuts, sour cream, and more goodies. The filling ends up nice and caramelly when finished. The cake is topped off with a coconut pecan frosting. All together it makes for a very rich cake.

CALIFORNIA PUDDING

California Pudding is a dense and spicy steamed pudding loaded with fruit, carrots, and potatoes that can be served with hard sauce. This wonderful dessert has a spicy aroma and flavor like carrot cake. When finished with a drizzle of the accompanying caramel sauce it makes a very memorable dessert.

GINGERBREAD PUDDING
​Here is Gingerbread Steamed Pudding Grant-Kohrs Ranch style. Augusta's version with raisins and served with a buttery, whiskey infused sweet hard sauce and a dusting of powdered sugar. Gingerbread pudding would make quite the Christmas treat.

ENGLISH TEA CAKES
These wonderful little cakes are perfect for high tea. Gems are a Victorian style cake that were very popular for teas or an afternoon treat. These have a nice sugar cookie and currant flavor and are made using an antique gem pan. 1/2 Dozen
